Our Safe Places scheme would like to say a big thank you to players of People’s Postcode Lottery. We were awarded £2610 through People’s Postcode Trust for our Safe Places scheme.
People’s Postcode Trust is a grant giving charity funded by player’s of People’s Postcode Lottery.
The money is to help us lower the age limit for Safe Places members. People can now join the scheme from the age of 14.
We have worked with the Children’s Safeguarding Board to make sure this is the right thing to do.
The Children’s Safeguarding Board check that services are effective and keep children safe.
We will be working with a number of services to make sure younger people know about Safe Places.
